Bio
Kathryn Beavers (b. 1996 - Trenton, NJ) was raised in Bucks County, PA and received her BFA in Painting from The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, Maryland - 2018. Beavers now resides in Philadelphia, PA working with animals and creating art.
Beavers made multiple temporary site specific installations at MICA as well as at Metro Gallery in Baltimore and has taken part in different group exhibitions on the east coast and many online exhibitions. She was selected to be a resident at The Vermont Studio Center in April, 2019 and in December 2019 she completed another residency at Main Street Arts in Clifton Springs, NY, both times making small bodies of work as well as large scale installations and murals. In March 2021 Beavers was selected as Artist of the Month at Calm Waters Coffee Roasters in Bristol, Pennsylvania. She has shown in an international online group exhibition EXTINCTION: Save The Planet with Gallerium.art as well as ANIMALS OF THE PLANET through biafarin. In June 2024 Beavers was awarded Honorable Mention in the Juried Works on Paper Group Exhibition at the Long Beach Island Foundation of Arts and Sciences. She had multiple works on display and for sale in the Naturalist Gallery Painting Collection at the Naturalist Gallery of Contemporary Art and then two shows: Studio Montclair’s 2025 State of the Art members show and Aquarium 2025 with Gallerium Art Exhibitions.
Currently Beavers has taken over Eremita Cafe in Philadelphia. She is the Artist of the Month for June 2026.
